HOA Board News

About 140 residents attended the annual Bridlewood Homeowners Association’s 1½-hour meeting on the evening of Thursday, November 19.  Two new board members were each elected to 2-year terms by the attending 100 lot owners and 250 proxies.  Kelly McDonald and Jim Cafferty received the majority votes from a slate of four candidates vying for two open board positions.  During the meeting, members were presented the 2008 recap, 2009 budget and various other management reports including an overview of community assets and updates of the Bridlewood fire station and FM 1171 construction projects.  Also presented by the board was the town’s plan to extend West Windsor to FM 2499.

Approximately 50 residents packed the Amenity Center to hear HOA Board candidates present their views at the “Meet the Candidates” meeting held on November 11, 2008.  Late in the meeting Marianne Kilpatrick, one of the five HOA Board candidates, fell ill and later died in the hospital.  Due to the tragic passing of Marianne Kilpatrick, Bridlewood residents can change or revoke their Proxy before the Annual Meeting on November 20, 2008.  See the main page for details.  Also the Board’s new on-site Association Manager, Jamie Gordon, will not be able to join the association on behalf of CMA at Bridlewood.  Toni Griffin, the current on-site manager, will continue to serve during the anticipated transition period.The HOA Board announced the 2008 annual meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20 at the Bridlewood Golf Club, 4000 W. Windsor at 7:00 p.m.  Check in will begin at 6:15 p.m.  This meeting will include the president and committee reports, the 2009 budget, and members voting to elect two candidates to the board each for a two-year term.  The candidates are Brad Butcher, Jim Cafferty, Marianne Q. Kilpatrick, Kelly McDonald and Barbara Bailey Younginer.
