Bridlewood Quality of Life Coalition

What You Can Do

If you can’t volunteer but still want to be a part of our mission:

  • Come to events and meetings at the town of Flower Mound – there is strength in numbers.  Be vocal and let them know you are in favor of your quality of life.
  • If you have creative ideas about events and fund-raising, you can email us: bridlewoodqlc [at] gmail [dot] com.
  • It’s also important for you to be informed.
  • Once you know what we’re fighting against, tell your neighbors:  Urban gas drilling affects everyone — the water you drink, the air you breathe, your property values, and your family’s safety.

Shirley,
I was wondering the same thing. The only comment about urban gas drilling that I saw was in the Flower Mound Messenger by Mike Wallace who said: “To protect what is special about Flower Mound, we should preserve SMARTGrowth and the Master Plan, keep property taxes low, uphold our oil and gas setbacks, and continue to attract high quality development.” If you didn’t see this article, you can read it at http://www.flowermoundmessenger.com/news/story/3054.html. It would be nice if you could attend the candidate forum at the Bridlewood Amenity Center on April 22, ask the question to all candidates, and report it in a story. Thanks,
Frank J. Miles
